It’s a debate as old as…well, film. For as long as books have been adapted to film readers and veiwers have argued about which is better: the book or the movie? Rarely, however, do we get to compare trailers. Fortunately, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter offers just such an opportunity.
Film first, mostly because, well, it was everywhere a few years ago so you’ve probably already seen at least one of the trailers:
And now for one you may not have seen. The book trailer.
So…which do you prefer and, more importantly, why? If you haven’t seen the fim or read the book would any of these trailers motivate you to do so? Why or why not? And if you have seen the movie or read the book did it deliver on the promises the trailers made?
